Unlike the manual ring cutter the Gem II ring cutter's uniquely designed cutting disc guide component allows a ring or series of rings (up to 20mm wide and 5mm deep) to be cut through in one single uninteruppted operation.
A single hand operated unit which is used in Accident & Emergency Departments, Minor Injury Units and Fire and Rescue services.
The GEM II is a light weight, cordless ring cutting device that is capable of cutting effortlessly through just about any material from plastic to titanium rings up to 20 mm wide and 5 mm deep.
The GEM II Ring Cutter is designed to be used with two different types of ring cutting disc. The A-Z 223 Diamond Cutting Disc is for use on hard metal rings such as, Iron, Steel and Platinum as well as the newer ultra-hard metals which are being used in jewellery such as Tungsten, Titanium and Stainless Steel. For softer metal rings such as gold, silver, brass and copper there is the A-Z 224 Cutting Carbide Disc.
